Chernobyl – Dosimetry Tower

An introductory game of normal difficulty where players find themselves in a dosimetry tower and their goal is to alert rescue services by assembling a broadcasting apparatus and transmitting the emergency codes. Game story The Chernobyl dosimetry tower recorded strange readings from Unit 4 of the nuclear power plant, indicating an incident with a release of radiation into the surroundings. The tower technicians must notify the plant staff and external rescue teams as quickly as possible by assembling and activating a broadcasting station and transmitting the appropriate emergency codes. Meanwhile, chaos reigns throughout Unit 4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant — no one really knows what is happening, and the key operator, engineer Alexander Akimov, is missing. An ad hoc rescue team has been tasked with finding and saving Akimov in the maze of corridors and rooms of the damaged turbine hall of Unit 4, and at the same time they must get the emergency make-up pumps up and running as soon as possible to prevent a far greater catastrophe that could erupt at any moment…
