In the sixties the world powers turned the threats into action and the world was destructed by the nuclear war. The surface turned into the dessert, where is nothing but radioactive sand being blown by cold wind. Few survivals vegetate in the underground vaults. One of them – scientist John Smith – discovered the materia which can clean the Eatrh’s surface from all radioactive substances. He just dissapeared before he could build up his oasis. You are the wanderer, who coincidentaly has ran into the scientist’s abannoned vault. You’re holding your breath when you enter into the airlock.
